More at the link (nothing else Eagles related), but here is the most important part ...

I caught up with Rodney Williams, the agent for Eagles strong safety Michael Lewis, to discuss what the former Pro Bowl player plans on doing in free agency since the safety position is a position of need for the Texans.
Q: I've been watching the Eagles for most of the season and I realize that Sean Considine was inserted into the starting lineup in place of Michael Lewis. When Considine wasn't getting trucked by opposing RBs, he was flat out missing tackles. I saw one bad game for Michael the entire year (New Orleans) so how did he lose his job?
Rodney: Considine became the starter after the New Orleans game in which Michael gave up a touchdown to Joe Horn on a double move. The Eagle company line was that they felt like Considine was better in coverage. After that time the Eagles went from 14th in the league against the run to 29th! We expected the Eagles to pull something like this after we rejected their contract proposals. The irony of it all is that had he signed the contract extension, he would have still been starting. He was leading the team in tackles up to that point.
