Why would he be? Randle and McFadden are clearly the two top backs and Dunbar as we saw is gonna be featured prominently in the pass game. Barring injury I don't see Michael being activated anytime soon.

I would have been surprised if he was going to be active.

He might need to find himself a spot on special teams in order to have a chance to be active without and injury to one of the other 3.

Based on some of the reactions here when we picked him up I thought he was going to single handedly save the season. I figured he'd not only be starting by now, but a strong candidate for NFL MVP.

It's also a numbers game now that Dez and Gregory are out. They probably prefer to have another WR or a D linemen active than another RB just to see what he can do.

More so than you. I know that C-Mike is our only option at running back to allow us to be as good as last season. If it is going to take an injury to someone let it be McFadden who is used to it. I didn't wish any health issues or a break of any sorts, just a hamstring tweak. I forgot the sensitivity level of 2015 is through the roof.
