It honestly is a no brainer to sign Sam, I mean what have the Cowboys got to lose. He comes in creates buzz for the defense that needs it. The Cowboys get a huge PR boost and honestly it is not like he will be that much worse then any other DE that the Cowboys currently have on the roster. We sign Sam it makes it easier to bring Brent into the fold.

My source was a bunch of guys talking about him on some sports show & they said Jeff Fisher had said he might put him on their PS.

It was definitely tongue in cheek; but I don't think that bringing in Sam would be detrimental to this team or the D-line. Putting him on the practice squad is very good place for him right now. Not only for him, but the Cowboys as well

I don't think Marinelli or the scouts really like Sam, but I think taking a shot at the SEC defensive player of the year couldn't hurt. And what is wrong with some good PR as well? Nothing.
