I want to temper my enthusiasm.

Something was not right with Trigg through the pre-draft interview process for a player of his talent to not get drafted. Look at the list of tight ends that did get selected this weekend and I bet 80 percent of them have nowhere near the talent Trigg has.

Maybe this goes beyond the maturity and benching issues he had in college. Teams that talked to him at the combine might not have liked what they heard. Hopefully I am wrong.

There was something. But if kid can mature, get his issues under control he has the skill set to make himself a rich man. Will that wake him up is the question with lots of these kids

Doesn’t seem all that bad. There were guys drafted with probably bigger issues who didn’t get caught lol

Nope........just read Brugler's entire profile. Nothing that stands out other than a suspension for a couple of games 2 years apart. I think NOT working out hurt him ..........

After watching Martellus Bennett waste all the natural physical abilities needed to be a HOF TE, and put together an incredibly below average career, my hopes aren't high.

The percentage of leopards who find a way to change their spots is low, but fingers crossed for this young man.

Exactly........but for some reason, he didn't work out for teams. He already had a 5/6 round grade according to Brugler .........so not working out may have pushed him further down.

As much as I love what this kid brings, only hard work and maturity will earn him playing time and meaningful snaps. I'm sure coaches are going to test him to see how bad he wanna EARN IT.

Lunda Wells went down to Waco pre draft to work this kid out I believe. We need an athletic TE for a change.

yep, totally agree. Our guys right now, just catch, run and go down. Not much after catch.
