And like always I know a lot more about football then that guy ever will! Don't ever rely on this waterboy to give you good football information.I read Brugler's entire profile and history on him via The Beast. He makes NO mention of him having issues with his teammates or the locker room being a 'thug' as you mention.
Brugler ( The Beast )
Weaknesses
- Plays high in and out of breaks
- Lacks consistency as a route runner and tends to prematurely reveal intentions
- Doesn’t always play with the same urgency mid-route
- Tied for FBS-lead among tight ends in 2025 with seven drops
- Wasn’t consistently the aggressor at the point of attack in the run game
- Late to lock on and sustain, which leaves him falling off blocks (called for holding against Cincinnati and UCF)
- Battled through bruised left shoulder for much of 2025 season; missed five games as a sophomore at Ole Miss with broken right collarbone (Oct. 2022); missed six games as a freshman at USC after spraining right knee (Oct. 2021)
- Served one-game suspension for “disciplinary matter” at both Ole Miss (Nov. 2022) and at Baylor (Sept. 2024); involved in sideline incident with former Baylor athletic director Mack Rhoades in 2025 — Rhoades is alleged to have taken exception to a gold, long-sleeved undershirt worn by Trigg during a home game against Arizona State (Rhoades’ role in the incident was investigated by the university)
- Maturity has been questioned by NFL teams (NFL scout: “I know how much he likes football, but he needs hard coaching … and you hope he develops better consistency, on and off the field.”)
Nope!Can he block?
Ok Coach.........lolAnd like always I know a lot more about football then that guy ever will! Don't ever rely on this waterboy to give you good football information.
That was the problem safety net vs. opening up the playbook/field.Probably. But he was so dependable; he was a QBs safety blanket and that counts.
See when you read the necessary information it will open up all kinds of new doors. Well done.Apologies if this has already been covered, but here's a little insight as to why Trigg was undrafted:
-While his highlight reel looks amazing, his career was pockmarked with bad drops.
-Lacks tight end size and does not block well, meaning he is basically an oversized wide receiver lacking outside speed.
-Work ethic concerns, including missed practices without valid excuses while at Ole Miss.
-Reportedly had issues with teammates and was considered a "locker room problem".
-Unfounded rumor he was caught with drugs in his hotel room the night before a Rebels road game. (This was from Reddit so please take it with a grain of salt).
Even taking away the maturity issues, Trigg projects as a hybrid player lacking a true position. He will have to bulk up to be a full time TE; and it remains to be seen if doing so would cost him some of his explosiveness. Scouts say his pro comp is Devin Funchess; who bounced around trying to find a home in the NFL.

Well I hope he gets his act together, some of his highlights remind me of Dez.Apologies if this has already been covered, but here's a little insight as to why Trigg was undrafted:

If it were up to me, Schoon would be sent to the cornfield. And how's he gonna get out there ahead of Ferg, Schoon and Spann-Ford? I mean, it's fun to dream about these guys coming in and taking over but let's be real. He would need an injury swarm to get anywhere near the field. We still have Sam Williams on the team so there's a chance!
Needs hard coaching.. not going to get that Camp Cupcake. Maybe he'll respond to some intense ping pong.Weaknesses

I'm sure they are going to test him early and often to see how badly he wants it.......Needs hard coaching.. not going to get that Camp Cupcake.
Weird off the field stories...https://www.foxnews.com/sports/bayl...ted-alleged-sideline-altercation-player-coachWell I hope he gets his act together, some of his highlights remind me of Dez.
It's good that you done that Anthony. If it were up to me, Schoon would be sent to the cornfield.
quick google search will find you some interesting things. "Alleged" things.......... like smoking weed and confrontations with players, coaches and authority figures. IMO that is correctable but Trigg will have to want to make changes for alleged issues. All this sounds great and the kid seems to be a big time athlete, and went to some big schools ........ why was he not drafted?
