The team likes Schoon more than you think. He was second on the team in tight end snaps. Schoonmaker was clearly the second tight end last season.

The team apparently also likes Spann Ford and Ferg. I’ve seen nothing to suggest that they like Schoon he’s on the team because he was a 2nd rounder and he tries hard.

Span-Ford is a Cowboys content creators Frankenstein and has done nothing in his two seasons on the Cowboys roster. Ferguson was a disappointment that signed a long term contract that was clearly an overpayment. Schoon has been a disappointment no doubt but the Cowboys tight end room is below average and the Michigan kid is not the only reason why.
You can’t have top notch players at every position. Considering we have two number one receivers, our TEs are adequate, regardless that Ferg is overpaid. I also think, and most of you won’t agree, that Schoon can possibly get better, as well as Spann-Ford. At least I hope.
Yeah but by the end of the season Spann Ford was getting more reps than Schoon. Inthink the TE room is fine I just think Schoon is a jag who does nothing good. At least Spann Ford can block.
