If we went after one of these guys, which one would you want more. I like "Pocket Hercules" Maurice Drew.

Give me Michael "The Burner" Turner. MB3 and him would be a very nice 1-2 punch, but I think Turner's price tag may be a bit much.

Turner? Welss I guess I haven't seen him enough. M. Drew is on my fantasy team and he is killing it! :)

Well Turner is a horrible fantasy pick because he backs up LT, but when he is in there, he is very productive...

He seems to be the better compliment to MBIII as a speed back, where Jones-Drew seems to have a similar style to MBIII imo.

Turner would be nice, but who is to say that Julius will be gone. The guy is gonna get like 1200 yards this year...

I agree with the post in this thread that states that everyone is just getting ahead of themselves assuming Jones will be out of here in '07, but I also wanted to comment on Turner.

As Trick states, he is quite productive when he gets a chance, but so was Jesse Chatman for SD in '04, almost in the very same way Turner is now. Makes me wonder if it's the quality of that line more than who they're throwing in there (not counting LT of course, who is unequivocally outstanding, I'm referring to the back-ups).

Love Drew, but he is a rookie so are you saying whenever his contract is up?

Drew is the heir apparent to Fred Taylor... he could take the starting role before he retires.

Turner is a free agent this season, and is stuck behind LT. He's the only one likely to be available. And he's going to be in high demand this offseason.
