I think I'm the only guy in the forum who really likes Michael Vick.

I like him as well. Got to see him play at VA Tech. He's coming into his own, now. :)

Vick has had years to do it consistently - untill he does he is just a gate draw and not much else.

Even at his height? :D

I really like him too, Hos.
He's 6'1" and that is below what I would hope for. In fact I said he was going to be a flop for that very reason. he was too small to absorb the punishment. He's proven me wrong. I can admit that.

He is a compact guy at 6'-1". He still may not survive the punishment he sometimes undergoes. If he continues his improvement as a passer he can cut down on a lot of that punishment. He has some great tools and really until recently had not lived up to his full potential.

I guess his learning curve was slower than I thought. He came out of college after only three seasons and that was at a predominantly running offense. He wasn't as NFL ready as other QBs that come out of pro style offense or pass happy schemes. It looked as if he was making steady progress until last season when he took a step backwards. He has looked great the last two games. Maybe he is getting the full picture. He has a high ceiling and it would be great if he could get close to reaching it and sustaining that type of success. Except on the day Dallas plays against him.
