Jerry's a lot of things, but he's not stupid. If Singletary is indeed a token candidate, naturally he's gonna drag the interview out to "sell" it. If he's hired, Wilbon will have a lot of egg on his face.

This is the kind of crap that pisses me off.
If JJ had just interviewed Bowles he get's slammed for that and now that he interviews Singletary he is criticized for that.

Not that I think this is a token interview, since Bowles already fulfilled that, but....

Wilbon was championing the "Rooney rule" when it was announced, and now when Jerry fulfills it...he lambasts him.

the only good thing I remember Wilbon ever saying about the Cowboys was during PTI and the question of who has the best looking uniforms in the NFL.

He did say the Cowboys home uni's were by far the best in the league.

I actually like Wilbon most of the time... other than being a big-time Michael Jordan groupie, the guy doesn't seem to have an "agenda"... he has in fact been hyper-critical of the Skins when the situation warrants criticism...

That said, I don't know how he can characterize the interview Singletary was given as "token"... first off, it seems that Jerry didn't HAVE to do another minority interview, apparently the NFL considered his interview with Bowles to have satisfied that criterion...

And won't Wilbon feel like the perfect fool if Jerry turns around and hires Singletary?? Wonder if he'll go on the air to admit he was completely full of bovine fecal matter for goin' off this way??
