Mickey talks about some news from the Browns. And some other tidbits.

Said that there is talk QB Watson and RB Chubb may not be ready for game 1 against Dallas.
As he threw for the 1st time this last week since his surgery.
Amari and Cleveland having a contract dispute and was not at their practices. Where is the outrage?

Remember that defense that most seem to fear gave up 45 points to the Texans in the playoffs.

Their game is all about the 2 elite edges.

1 vs pass with weak CBs and 11 versus run with middling DTs. Those Edges really carried that D.
Old foe Jordan Hicks is past his prime but still very serviceable like Hendricks.

Amari holding out is hilarious. Never even took field with Jeudy but already wants more money and an extension before sharing targets.
Watson isn't ready yet so good to get them game 1 IMHO before they get that offense going.

Chubb will test our run D thats for sure!

Chubb's knee was shredded. No way he's 100% for week 1. I don't see him with more than 10-12 carries.

Talk about an early upward trajectory career, now going in a downward spiral.
Watson's 2nd through 4th seasons -outstanding play, awards and accolades, two playoff berths, the lucrative contract extension - it all has been marred, tarnished, and sidelined by his trade demand = acrimonious split from the Texans, his disgusting behavior in his personal life, the suspension, and mounting injuries.

Since being drafted seven years ago, Watson has played in only 69 games (66 regularly season, 3 playoff).

Clock is ticking...

That's true...no argument there......some here seem to forget those performances by him against the Bills and Dolphins in December.

He could have been a difference maker....at least in the Dolphins game....

This will be a fun game to try and break down in the weeks leading up to it and ultimately everyone is going to be wrong in some capacity. No one is really sure what to expect from the Cowboys new defense post DQ. Is Diggs ready for week 1? If so is he 100%? What does Parsons role look like? How does the Dallas Oline look early in the year? Flip over to Cleveland and we have two very different QBs in Watson & Winston that could be the week 1 starter. Cleveland hit free agency hard this year adding Jordan Hicks, Quinton Jefferson, and Devin Bush to their defense that's already pretty good. Jerry Jeudy is an interesting addition to that offense to go with Moore & Cooper. Week 1 games are always tough to predict, but both of these teams seems to have massive questions on both sides of the ball that will effect the Xs and Os pretty heavily.

We will know right away how the season is going to go based on this game. It's a horrible match up for Dallas. Their strengths are our (continued) weaknesses. If Dallas gets destroyed that day by getting run over and being unable to run the ball, then it will be a bad, coaches get fired type season.

How in the world do we know who the Cowboys are going to line up against the Browns?

The Cowboys have yet to go through their annual injury purge during training camp.
