That is the best part of the shows when you can tell Broaddus is getting tired of Mickey's idiocy. Well...Usually it is Mickey being idiotic. Have not watched this one yet so I can't say it is on him.

There are other times when you can see Broaddus start to argue a point only to say lets move on to another topic because he knows it is just not worth his time trying to talk with Mickey about it.

The truly funny part is seeing Mickey vigorously argue a point on one show only to seem him do a 180 on basically the same point just because the team did something that he was against before. lol.

This one wasn't that tense, they're not in mid-season form yet lol. Broaddus is a guy where you can read his face and see exactly what he's thinking. You're right though, he started getting upset and wanted to move on from the discussion. Mickey is a very stubborn person.

I can see both sides of this argument. There's no doubt that the culture is improving and we are getting younger. That being said, I don't think its unreasonable to expect the game time decision making to be better. It all seems so simple to me, let DeMarco(RB) play a bigger role in the offense and we'll do better. I thought Garrett went to Princeton:confused:

I prefer to think of him as a stubborn argumentative pain in the arse to be honest.

They have had much more intense arguments. Kinda of a letdown.

Once JG gets fired, I wouldn't mind him taking a job in the personnel dept. He's a smart guy, he could help bring in talent for someone else to coach up and utilize effectively. He's just not the best choice of captains for this ship. His blunders in game mgmt are well documented. His playbook and play calling are also suspect, at best. All that said, he doesn't have much talent on this roster to work with. Making the playoffs would be a minor miracle. I think the coaching staff is good enough as a whole to make up for SOME Garrett defeciencies(callahan's zone blocking scheme helped), and JG's job duties seem to be shrinking every year. I do believe in continuity, but through three seasons it is clear that JG is not the best man for the job. But I would hate to blow up the entire coaching staff because of it. It is a tricky situation, but beneficial in the long run IMO.

How could Mickey be around the sport for all of these years and not understand how passing every down lost the GB game??? He kept saying how many points did GB score? Unreal. Well if you refuse to burn clock and give a team possession after possession when you have the worst defense in the league, more than likely they will score a lot of points.

Broaddus calling Mickey an idiot would be like a 3 foot tall dwarf calling a 2 foot tall dwarf short.

It's too bad about Mickey. Before he got hired by the Cowboys, he was a very good insider type back in the early nineties.

If Garrett was fired...Mickey would be on the next show defending the fire and questioning anyone who was against it.

How could you have watched the game and come to any other conclusion than the Defense lost the game? You can't run out the entire second half and still score enough points to win the game with a Defense like that.
