Tell you what, I'm willing to open up my entire posting history to you, and I challenge you to find one time (aside from post #35 in this thread) where I EVER said I wanted a running QB. And I really didn't even use those words in post #35. And why bring Josh Allen into this?I could show other highlights that show Dak scrambled more than what this highlight video did, so it still disproves the false accusations that Dak can't scramble or run anymore.
And THAT is the bottom line. All of you critics actually want a running QB, so you have to make up false accusations against Dak to try to justify wanting to replace him. That's bush league tactics. Y'all want a running QB like Josh Allen, but that is not what Jerry, Schottenheimer and the Cowboys front office want. So either accept what they do want or go follow Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills. It's very simple.
By the way, what has this running QB Josh Allen type ever accomplished?
Answer: Nothing.
If anything, this running QB type like Josh Allen holds the record for the
most playoff game starts (13) without reaching a Super Bowl. Doesn't sound like a ringing endorsement or map for Super Bowl success.
You're wrong. The video shows the opposite. Dak is still plenty of mobile enough.Tell you what, I'm willing to open up my entire posting history to you, and I challenge you to find one time (aside from post #35 in this thread) where I EVER said I wanted a running QB. Back to your video - you're the one who posted a Dak highlight video that claims to show Dak still having mobility when all that video showed is a near total lack of it. And now your trying to trash another QB who has had more playoff success when it isn't going to help your cause. By the way, Josh has played in 2 AFCCG's and had to contend with Mahomes and KC both times - where does Dak compare?
I promise I'm not trying to fight with you....
Ref the bold: You posted a video proving it....You're wrong. The video shows the opposite. Dak is still plenty of mobile enough.
Plus, you yourself said, "If Jerry truly wanted to win he would get that running QB everyone covets," so no need to backtrack after the fact. It is crystal clear you and so many want a running QB, hence why y'all make up bunk against Dak being immobile in order to excuse you bashing him and demanding a straight up running type of QB. It's too bad since that is not what the Cowboys want nor what has been proven through NFL playoffs history that actually works.
11 with 5 with outI'm at 7 wins with him playing all 17.
I'm at 5 without.
Ref the bold: You posted a video proving it....
Watch this video - it shows you actual scrambling ability and mobility:
Dak has never been this mobile, even before the 2020 injury. Although I would be the first one to say that from 2016 to 2020 he DID show flashes of mobility, just not anywhere close to the level of a Staubach, Fran Tarkenton, etc. Don't even try to tell me that Roger didn't have great success being a running QB. He most certainly did.
One question for you - why would you not want a very mobile QB? If you knew it would increase your chances of success and increase your chances of competing for a super bowl, why stick with a QB who lost all that 5 years ago? It screams of being a Dak fan more than a Dallas Cowboys fan.
Still can’t believe Jerry gave that lead-footed dude a quarter of a billion dollar contract..He'll get his shot at some point.
He’s never been “mobile”.. He runs likes he’s in molasses or lead-footed. His strength and low base just made him incredibly difficult to take down.. But if he lost his strength, that “advantage” is gone, so call it a wrap.He just comes off as looking older and more fragile than other QBs his age. The decline in his mobility has really been evident the past few years. Players bodies breakdown at different ages and of course sometimes it 's just bad luck and one or two seasons of injuries doesn't mean it will happen the next season. Maybe if he loses weight? He doesn't exactly seem to be a "workout warrior". We really need his healthy for the next couple of years at least
Unlike most of the homers, Dak homers included, I don't have to have things my way and I'm certainly not upset about anything being said in this thread.Nah. You're just upset because you're not getting things your way. Sorry, your way doesn't work best. Dak is still plenty of mobile enough. Accept it or you know the rest of this line...
Go root for another team?Nah. You're just upset because you're not getting things your way. Sorry, your way doesn't work best. Dak is still plenty of mobile enough. Accept it or you know the rest of this line...
Watch the video A/C posted and go to the 7:30 mark... That's Peyton Manning and John Elway slow...He’s never been “mobile”.. He runs likes he’s in molasses or lead-footed. His strength and low base just made him incredibly difficult to take down.. But if he lost his strength, that “advantage” is gone, so call it a wrap.
Sleep well knowing he regrets it every day and it's not your money being wasted.Still can’t believe Jerry gave that lead-footed dude a quarter of a billion dollar contract..
Go argue with someone else, because I don't have time for it. The video clearly proves you wrong. How you deal with it says everything.Unlike most of the homers, Dak homers included, I don't have to have things my way and I'm certainly not upset about anything being said in this thread.
If you want to believe Dak is still mobile, help your self. I have a different opinion (based on video proof that YOU provided) and that's where we will leave things.
Why are you taking everything personal?Go argue with someone else, because I don't have time for it. The video clearly proves you wrong. How you deal with it says everything.
I thought you were a hater....make up your mind, ese.I think he'll bounce back and put up decent stats, especially with the addition of Pickens but the continuing non-contact injuries should be concerning
"Dak can't run anymore!"
"Dak can't scramble anymore!"
"Dak is no longer mobile!"
Well, let's see some 2024 highlights...
Hmm, I swear, so many were saying Dak can no longer do is suddenly popping up on video from last season alone. Who is telling the truth? Dak's critics or his game tapes?
lmao...yet, you want other posters reading yours?Don't come at me either because most of y'all that are done and disagree with me aren't ignoring I don't have to read your dribble.
See, that's where some people don't read ALL of someone's comments and only FIXATES on the negative comments.I thought you were a hater....make up your mind, ese.
