Tell you what, I'm willing to open up my entire posting history to you, and I challenge you to find one time (aside from post #35 in this thread) where I EVER said I wanted a running QB. And I really didn't even use those words in post #35. And why bring Josh Allen into this?

Back to your video - you're the one who posted a Dak highlight video that claims to show Dak still having mobility when all that video showed is a near total lack of it. And now you're trying to trash another QB who has had more playoff success when it isn't going to help your cause. By the way, Josh has played in 2 AFCCG's and had to contend with Mahomes and KC both times - where does Dak compare? And why not bring Lamar Jackson into this too?

For the record, I promise I'm not trying to fight with you....

You're wrong. The video shows the opposite. Dak is still plenty of mobile enough.

Plus, you yourself said, "If Jerry truly wanted to win he would get that running QB everyone covets," so no need to backtrack after the fact. It is crystal clear you and so many want a running QB, hence why y'all make up bunk against Dak being immobile in order to excuse you bashing him and demanding a straight up running type of QB. It's too bad since that is not what the Cowboys want nor what has been proven through NFL playoffs history that actually works.

Dak has never been this mobile, even before the 2020 injury. Although I would be the first one to say that from 2016 to 2020 he DID show flashes of mobility, just not anywhere close to the level of a Staubach, Fran Tarkenton, etc. Don't even try to tell me that Roger didn't have great success being a running QB. He most certainly did.

One question for you - why would you not want a very mobile QB? If you knew it would increase your chances of success and increase your chances of competing for a super bowl, why stick with a QB who lost all that 5 years ago? It screams of being a Dak fan more than a Dallas Cowboys fan.

Nah. You're just upset because you're not getting things your way. Sorry, your way doesn't work best. Dak is still plenty of mobile enough. Accept it or you know the rest of this line...

He’s never been “mobile”.. He runs likes he’s in molasses or lead-footed. His strength and low base just made him incredibly difficult to take down.. But if he lost his strength, that “advantage” is gone, so call it a wrap.

Unlike most of the homers, Dak homers included, I don't have to have things my way and I'm certainly not upset about anything being said in this thread.

If you want to believe Dak is still mobile, help your self. I have a different opinion (based on video proof that YOU provided) and that's where we will leave things.

Go argue with someone else, because I don't have time for it. The video clearly proves you wrong. How you deal with it says everything.
 
There's no reason to think he can't play at least 15 games this year after 2020 he had his ankle practically snapped off and he played all the games in 2021 and had 37 touchdowns and ten interceptions I mean acting like any of the starting quarterbacks availability isn't important it's important we have Parsons for a majority of the game it's important we have a majority of our starters a majority of the season because availability for all of them is very important because the people who backed them up are nowhere near as good as them that is why they're the starters none of this really makes sense to have to say it it's important that these guys play most of the season Prescott's never had a losing season when he's played at least twelve games?

So if he starts the season healthy and finishes playing most if not all the games we have a great chance to do positive things everyone in here saying we are better off starting without him and man it's already started first it was Cooper Rush everyone with the wheel Greer and the Mike Whites they all think we're better off starting our backup that's hilarious some of the people in here are some of the biggest trolls or they're that naive and they're that big of casual is where they have no earthly idea what football really is..

It gets old yes you all people annoy me you have no idea what football is if you think we're better off without Prescott...

One of the positive things Dak figured out early is to train as a professional all year round and I give him full credit for that.

The question of mobility and using his legs as an asset is real though. From the early days till just fairly recently, Qbs weren't desired for mobility but now the game is much different, However if a Qb can at least have a great first step and elude the rush, its still as important as it ever was.

It's the sight of him jogging for easy yards that the defense may give him and pulling up lame is what concerns me......of course this can happen to any player but once they start happening more frequently, the floodgates open......just ask Antonio Romero Romo and many others

See, that's where some people don't read ALL of someone's comments and only FIXATES on the negative comments.

For example.......I love the Pickens aquisition but dont like the Javonte Williams aquisition. Does that make someone a " hater " or merely a fan with an informed opinion?
