In a 3-4 that makes a lot of sense. Especially in the proposed system Ryan runs since line man may be standing and LB may have their hand on the ground. Not to mention it really helps with blitzing from the LB position to know, see, and feel how the guys in front of you attack the opposing O-line.

Good way to get everyone on the same page. Maybe make them think and be more disciplined during games, cause I am sure no one wants to look bad during those Monday morning film sessions in front of the whole squad.

IN defense of Wade, the entire defense did meet together and had positional meetings as well.

I am not panning this move, just saying there were entire defenses assembled for meetings. Probably most of them in film sessions. Drills were probably separate and that may be the change here.

way i gather it Hos, its at valley ranch, and their now having one room together for linebackers and defensive linemen, which is why their tearing down the walls, but thanks for heads up on wade on way phillips defenses were assembled, i remember some of that, where they met together sometimes,

but still i think its good for the defensive players tobe together

their talking about e.... the linebackers coach, that someone posted about cowboys blitz interviewing on the show, its suppose to air soon, i will ask mickey when its going to air or put on podcast on dallascowboys website

I'd be very surprised to find out that the DL and LB's weren't already meeting together in the past. Wade may be a lot of things, but he wasn't an idiot.
