adjustments question was asked to mickey, all commets afterwards are what mickey spagnola said; both on pass and run that the cowboys must have a mixture like in the tampa bay game
the cowboys have beaten giants 4 of last 6 games, some people dont realize that;
but perception is giants have dominated them, but they havent
so it can be done be beating the giants with a better job of run defense and protecting romo in the pocket

for example in one of the games that the cowboys lost to the giants; romo was harrased, but wasnt alot of blitzing, but zone blitzing, keep romo clean and let him run the plays

felix jones injury issue question; dont know if you worry yet, but sure some concern, but he did play through rest of the game, dont know how much he can run freely. We will just have to wait and see how he does in practice today.

you have to protect romo in the pocket when romo passes and maybe felix needs to wear bigger thigh pads;
You have to protect the running back now days because so many defensive players are now taught to watch a rb hips and knees, to see where he is going to to, so alot more lower tackles are happening now, so maybe felix needs to get to thicker padding, etc

thats it;

What's that mean, Beeler giving him a piggyback on running plays? Who do you protect an NFL running back?

My thinking was that he was alluding to having him wear more padding.

Wrap him in bubble wrap?

If that's what it takes!

It's too early for the 'injury-prone' label, but on the other hand, it's not something you want to be seeing a lot of either.

If this keeps up, the term will start to come out.

i was typing as mickey was talking, so didnt go back and correct; but yes, for the cowboys to protect Romo when he passes, and for felix to wear bigger thigh pads.

well Big Dakota, thats a good question i think should be asked for the running back's coach, shouldnt he have seen this coming with felix's thigh injury in preseason, and wouldnt the cowboys have realized that felix needed bigger thigh pads?

Cant think of our running back coach name right now, but he came from oakland

Is that poor coaching on the cowboys part Big Dakota, or maybe felix said the bigger thigh pads restricts him. Dont know but a good question to ask and get fixed.

Maybe the Cowboys trainer staff needs to be creative, and make a thigh pad just alittle bigger, but not too big,

It's up to the player on what pads to wear. They have access to everything out there.

In the 2 loses, did Dallas have their starting OL playing? I know the one loss, they keyed Tuck on Proctor.
