Microsoft Surface tablets fail during AFC Championship game

Knew this would eventually happen. It's Microsoft software.

lol, I'm no Microsoft lover (I'm a Linux systems engineer by trade), but I doubt it's a Microsoft problem. More than likely someone is jamming their WiFi signal hah.

Some were working and some weren't so doubt it's a wifi issue.

It was a WiFi issue. The Pats started plugging in with RJ45 cables is what I read to get passed the issue until it was resolved.

My guess, is whatever signal they use to disrupt the opposing team's communication disrupted their WiFi also! ROFL.

You're right. I also read that the tablets were stripped of all apps except for the one that presents photos. That makes sense. A regular Surface would never last a whole game without some issue.

Couldn't have happened against a better team. Thanks Microsoft for sparing us another Cheaterbowl. Cry Cheatriots cry.

I remember this same problem at a Cowboys game in 2015 and both sides were forced to stop using them until the problem was fixed. Why was that not done this time?

Yup!

And they brought this issue up right after Brady int. Priceless!
