I think it’s fair to say the Cowboys have an easy schedule, but when you look at the roster I think it’s also fair to say that we aren’t going to do much if we get there.

However last season the Rams picked up Vonn Miller and Odell Beckham in November and If at that stage we are doing well, and our rookies are better than expected, I don’t see why we could do something similar given the cap side we have.

We have traded for guys mid-season before, including Cooper, but fair to say we’ve been pretty conservative.

So….any chance it happens?
Our front office has gotten real risk adverse so I would say no.

Oh, I did not mind the trade at all. It worked and was needed at the time. I also am ok with the trade even for a 5th round pick and salary dump.
I think by the end of the year, fans will be happy about this.

I was just trying to say how we never get the trades for mid to late round picks as other teams do. Or trade one of our players for a top pick. Just never happens.
Yep, when was the last time we did a trade like you mentioned?

No schedule is easy. The Cowboys always find a way to make what appears to be an easy schedule difficult. They blow at least one or two games every season against teams they’re supposed to beat.
