We all know that Dallas is in desperate need of a starting caliber DE...or anyone who can generate a pass rush more than 1-2 times per game. We also know that no one like that is going to be available due to team cuts.

My next desire is a big thumper at MLB. If a strictly 2-down MLB is released in cut downs, do you fall into the "bring him in" or the "we will be okay at LB" camp?

Me? I want to see a guy at MLB who has some heft, who can thump a RB, and who can stack and shed. I don't care if the guy IS only a 2-down back. I think we need help at MLB in short yardage, goal line, and when teams commit to running the ball down our throats until we prove we can stop them. We have lots of LB depth, but no one who can help the DL stop the run.

And I think we are likely to get a chance at a 2-down LB during cut downs.

Wilson is 245 and played DE in JUCO at 260.

Marinelli is not likely to want a 2 down only type. In the modern pass happy NFL those are almost extinct.

Some here have failed to grasp teams in the current NFL now covet players in the 235-245 range to play MLB, so they can cover and run in a pass happy league.

Yes, Lavonte David and Tevin Smith come to mind.

But they need to be fast which might exclude Deon King.
