I'm not exactly happy with the DL but they played a pretty good game. We checked their rushing game and I thought we got decent pressure. If you add Spencer to that group and move Selvie inside on passing downs then I like that a lot. We miss Bass and Crawford though but I think we are much better than I thought we'd be.

There's some truth to that but we also played a depleted Giants OL. The Chiefs will probably a better test.

Part of the problem that I keep hearing being mentioned is that the linebackers are biting hard on play-action, and aren't getting deep enough drops in coverage as a result.

Growing pains learning the TX 2. These LB's have played the run 98% of their lives. They gotta think about the possibility of pass 1st and that's only going to come with time...

The point is that it had nothing to do with being in prevent defense

That was the first drive, not the whole game. Just because th first drive wasn't 'prevent' or 'soft' defene doesn't mean the second half wasn't. That is my point.
