but why would we ever blow a timeout 1.5 minutes into the second half when it already was 3rd and 19? We likely weren't going to convert anyway so why not take the five yards instead of burning a timeout?

I completely agree.

The only thing worse was having to call a timeout later on defense when the Packers just called a challenge.

I wondered the very same thing when that happened. That was an idiotic use/waste of a TO.
