Canelo is the bigger physical man.
Canelo landed crushing power shots. To the head and body.
Canelo is looking like a slightly lesser version of Julio Cesar Chavez. He walks you down and just punishes you.

Cotto is great. He just chose someone that was too big.
Cotto hit Canelo like he was hitting a heavy bag but like tapping the bag. He couldn't really set his feet because Canelo made him pay. Even when Cotto could dig in and deliver power shots. They were missing power,

It was a mismatch.

Not sure why Cotto came in so light, he was 1 1/2 pounds under the 155 limit and didnt look much bigger then that last night.

If it was his strategy to be lighter and quicker then he needed to be more active earlier in the fight to try and tire Canelo out.

Overall it was a pretty good fight but not nearly as good as the Varga / Miura fight. That was a total war!

All was lost for Cotto when he couldn't use his feet and speed to then stop and set to land that devastated left hook. Because Canelo was coming with a right hand or uppercut.

Honestly, I don't think the Cotto left hook could have hurt Canelo. Canelo keeps his long arms/elbows at his side.
