Dak was done developing before Mike got here. He just doesn’t have the elite talent to put it all together.

Last season he was better passing but worse in the pocket. This season his pocket presence and fumbles improved but his passing suffered.

He’ll be 30 when next season starts. Any dreams of further development need to be put to bed.

Great article! Just read it. It's frustrating to see how Jerry has placed the badly inexperienced Kellen Moore and his O-Coordinator learning curve as precedent, instead of allowing the 10+ years of SB proven Mike McCarthy's offense to be implemented.

If anyone deserves any blame for what we're experiencing with the results, today, it's Jerry Jones for favoring the inexperienced Kellen Moore over Mike McCarthy.

So dumb. No one gets done developing unless you stop trying, receive the improper coaching or lose your physical ability due to age or injuries.

...but never blame Dak as AC and fellow Dakfantaics will come to his rescue and place blame and lay excuses on everyone and everything but their hero Dak....and heaven forbid anyone criticizes Dak as they will be labeled a hater, troll, and their military service and intelligence questioned because the Dakfanatics are heavily invested emotionally on their man hero.

Mentally weak. So embarrassing. Can dish it out but can't take it.

They truly make take this place to fantasy-level happenings.
Shame really but then again there is the laughter they provide trying their best to support such an inept QB......

Mikes been here long enough. I doubt much changes because of mike. If anything does change its because of all the other coaching changes being made.

This was from a 2020 article from James Jones his former WR right after he was first hired. Everyone thought we would be running his offense but than switched to keeping Kellen. It talks about the same things we are still seeing today and the inconstancy….. It’s a good read to kind of see what Mike likes to do.

It has never made sense to me to bring in an offensive head coach but keep the OC from the prior regime, but that's Uncle Jerry for you.

As for Dak, I'm not sure how much developing he can do but I do think he needs a new voice in his head. Moore was his teammate. How hard can he really push him?

It’s so strange. Listening to James Jones talk about Mike’s offense that has wide open WR’s….we’ve seen this a lot in the past playing GB that they had guys open a lot and we always blamed our secondary.

Generational QB’s such as Brady, Rodgers, Bradshaw, Aikman, improved year over year. There are more but my point is after 7 years in league what are the results. If we continue with Dak it will be 28, 29, 30 years without a SB! Alas, it all doesn’t matter with Jerry’s family firmly in charge.

QBs that “got better” were already ones that had the QB talent and everybody knew it. They were known for their arm strength, intelligence, accuracy, pocket presence as well as ability to go through their progressions. It was just a matter of putting it all together.

Dak has none of those qualities.
