Well I take it you missed what was said on ESPN's First Take then. Skip, in his usual Cowboy bashing way, dismissed Romo, saying how he would rather build a team around the 6 ft. 5, over the shoulder Eli Manning, over Tony who is too short and too side-armed.

Of course it was nice to see Marcellis (spelling?) Wiley's rebuttal. Basically rebuking anything Skip had to say regarding Eli, and definitely taking Romo to build a team around, giving detailed analysis, and stats to back up his statement.

Then Skippy went on to say how disgusted he was about TO being voted to the 2008 All-Pro team over Wes Welker. No matter how you slice it, Skippy hates the Cowboys.

I don't see it as too much of an insult either. Brady has three rings, Peyton has one ring, Favre has a ring, two SB appearances, three league MVP's, Hasslebeck has a SB appearance and has been a Pro Bowler.

After that you have Romo, Eli, Rivers and Garrard. Golic is saying that out of the inexperienced bunch he'd take Romo. That is despite the fact that he is the only one in that group without a playoff victory. Yes, I do realize that the other three got their wins this past weekend because they were wild card participants but facts are facts.

Romo can silence a lot of people by playing well and getting a win under his belt this Sunday. I hope the Romo of the 1st three months of the season shows up and shows up big so Dallas can shut up all these doubters.
