Mike Evans had a great combine. 6'5, 230, 4.5 40 yard dash. Doubt he's there at 16, but if he is, he has to be on the Cowboys' board.
I was impressed with him as well. He's perfect for the Lions at #10 pick. He's the kind of guy you take if he falls to you. I would prefer a defensive elite stud playmaker though.
I would as well. But there's a good chance such a playmaker won't be available at 16.

Yep, and the other guy I could see falling to us would be OT/OG/C Zack Martin. That's an even better selection than Evans. You can get a WR in later rounds in this draft that will be very good.

The guy that impressed me was Odell Beckham Jr. I wouldn't mind him in a Cowboys uniform.

CBS has him ranked 12th (4th OT overall). I didn't realize he had climbed that high. He might be there when we pick. Wouldn't be mad about it if we did, if he's the top guy on the board.
I'm an ND alum, so I'm obviously a big fan of Zack Martin. Perfect plug-and-play guy.
I agree play him at one of the G spots this year and then slide him to RT next year and cut Free.

I think if Evans gets close to 16, you can expect us to make a move.
This defense is not one draft away from being fixed, no matter how much we want it to be. Sacrificing our first round pick for a bonafide Dez Bryant twin on offense is okay with me as long as all remaining picks are spent on D.
