What are the Cowboys going to do with Pickens? Get him for one year? The year we're not winning a SB. He's on the last year of his contract. His market value going forward is 23M.

I dont want him or sutton, I hope they get a new wr in the draft, if not then look at the idea of trading for a guy.

Rumors about possible trades are nothing to hang your hat on. I'm not prone to getting all excited about anything that may or may not even happen. Talking about trades and actually completing them are just two totally different things. It's far better to draft a WR for a whole career than to trade for one for, quite possibly, a more expensive single year. Thanks, but no thanks.

I read this morning that Pickens is 'More available than people realize' hinting that the price may not be as steep as one would suspect. Whether that is true or not, Dumb & Dumber probably have no clue.

The problem is that almost every team is looking to trade down.

This draft is very thin across the top 30 or so which means everyone sees that number 12 isn’t much different from number 20, depending on need.

The top QB this year might not have even been taken in the first round last year.

But, when a trade doesn’t happen for the Cowboys, I expect people will lose their minds.

Could be but then I have to ask, why?

If I was a GM looking to move a player the first call I would make is to Jerry Jones because I know I could get more out of him than any other GM.

Getting guards and Interior defensive lineman are definitely the non-sexy pick but having road graders to open holes and man-stoppers at the defensive line are the most important components outside of the QB position in football.

I'm 100% satisfied with using this pick to replace Zac Martin......whether or not Tyler B is the right guy remains to be seen though
