Fisher can be a complete egotistical jerk... I'm sure he finds it difficult to speak without sounding pompous - probably because he is. And that's putting it lightly. I'd never want to meet the man or even have to be around him.. but I definitely follow him on Twitter. Lots of good tidbits.

I met this guy as a poster on his dallasbasketball site a few yrs ago. I created a thread requesting suggestions for a restaurant to take my wife for our anniversary.

He PM'd me and sent me to his buddy's restaurant in Dallas, told them I was coming and had everything paid for including champagne.

He's always replied to tweets and overall he seems like a great guy. He also provides the best Mavs analysis you can get and he's great on The Fan as well.

Mike wrote back and told me he stopped reading at that point. Typical Fisher.
