Mike Fisher on Dak helping this offense by being a runner!

It really was. Sorry if your blinders are blocking your view. The facts:

- Dak was the same runner of the ball in his last full season as he’s always been. He isn’t a running QB, never has been, never will be.
I think you are confused. No one...ever...has asked him to be Hurts. What we are talking about is SELECTIVE...EFFECTIVE run plays.

They can sustain drives...if not score. They can be pivotal in the drive and game.

I was curious about his pre NFL assessment and found this:\
"Prescott is a rugged runner who punishes defenses once he gets moving downhill, "

I also found several other...haunting...quotes.
" he doesn’t have great footwork or agility, especially in the pocket. (...) , I see a quarterback who is not comfortable in the pocket."

I'm going to pause here because I think it belongs in it's own thread. Yes...yes Iam...creating yet another Dak thread. :)

You are deflecting. I said no team has ever let a guy playing qb make an all pro and let him go. You then list not one example of it. Not one. None of those guys were announced to all pro before they got traded…
Nah,my point is that any time someone criticizes Dak, you prop him up. Then we ask you to put your money where your mouth is - or Jerry's money - you say, "he wasn't worth it". Well, one can't tell listening to you apologize for Dak and pretending he can still run!!! LOL...apologizing for the "lack of talent around him" and but you begged for him to get paid!!!

I'm not deflecting, I'm serving you volleys too fast:
Dak was an ALTERNATE all-pro who needed a pretty stacked offense - and a weak division/favorable schedule at the time - to get those numbers. And no matter...because the team let him play out ALL his contracts and franchised him twice ...so you want us to believe that the team that consistently told Dak "we don't fully believe in you"...had "no choice"? Nah, the Eagles gave Wentz a contract and then drafted Hurts a few months later. Bledsoe was given a historic (at the time) $100mm contract...and the Patriots BENCHED him. Do bad teams who used twisted logic and listen to clueless fan bases...do THEY "automatically" sign the guy? Maybe. It's not a like an off-the-books rule in the NFL...teams move on all the time.

Yes, if you have receivers who can't separate, you do not have much of a choice. Or if you don't have chemistry with your receivers or if they run bad or inconsistent routes and the QB can not trust them to be where they are supposed to be.

What made Troy and Mike very unique, especially in today's NFL, Troy could throw the ball before Mike broke his route and the ball would be exactly where Michael was.

This is very rare in today's football. True pocket passers, are becoming obsolete, as GM's becoming more infatuated with the potential of running QB's, who rely on their athletic ability, than there ability to read a defense.
Name one receiver - outside of Randy Moss - that Tom Brady had who was better than CeeDee. Peyton won with and without Marvin Harrison. I could go on.

It's not that our receivers can't separate...it's that Dak is not a precision passer and he chokes. It's not complicated at all. If the requirement is to have 5 WRs that all have 3 yards of separation between them and the defender...welp...that's why we are stuck with a Choker in year NINE. The average career of an NFL QB is 3-4 years...and we are in year 9 talking about this LOSER!

An alternate all pro? What? Are you high? What the hell is a alternate all pro? Just misinformed and lying.

You are deflecting again. Answer the question when has a team let a guy who just made a All pro walk who played qb? You know everything or so you say but when someone ask you questions you all of a sudden turn the lights out.

What are you even arguing? What is your point wrap it up.

2nd STRING. All-pro is for the best...second team is for runners-up to the best.

You don't have to have highly paid receivers to create separation. Belichick had found a niche the other teams could not seem to comprehend, or want to invest in.

Belichick was fine with drafting WR'a under 6 ft tall, that may have had an average 40, but were extremely quick and can change directions. Those types of receivers create tremendous amount of separation. GM Jethro is infatuated with 6 feet plus WR's.

He did the same thing at RB. He took undersized RB's that no one else wanted, but they all were very quick and were good receivers.

The money he saved at WR and RB, he invested in his Defense and OLine to protect a statue of a QB, but don't full yourself they created plenty of separation.

Huh? Yeah body that isn’t how it works lol. All Peo and second team isn’t alternates. Damn
That's ACTUALLY how it works...I'm going into rabbit hole.

1st Team vs. 2nd Team:
The 1st Team All-Pro is typically considered the most prestigious, comprising the top players at each position. The 2nd Team represents the runners-up, still demonstrating a high level of performance.

So it wasn't Tom Brady it was Belichick? I'm not following your logic regarding requiring every receiver to get separation.

The point being you have to be able to throw the ball to Gronk who can use his body and long arms to catch the ball and throwing to Edelmann. In fact, it could be argued that while smaller WRs can change direction faster, DBs are often shorter and can match that. Also, it's a smaller target for a QB. Real QBs can work with any kind of receiver!!!

This getting embarrassing….you said All Pro 2nd team means you are an alternate because someone didn’t go. Pure stupidity. It means you were the second best player at the position lol.
