With just Carr, Brown, and a hobbled Scandrick

Big Ben had over 400 yards passing, completed 80% of his passes, and 3 TDs. Our secondary was awful and Commanders can beat you deep. This is a terrible matchup for our D, especially with having Reed and Garcon to deal with.

They have a couple more receivers they could field also ,that leshawn Jackson, and some rookie/p.s.(I think) they've picked up,,, man,if they go hurry up/no huddle consistently we could be in for throbbing headache/hangover come Friday morning,,,if Eli Manning didn't shred our secondary on 3or maybe 4 quick strikes in the season opener we dominated that game, I'm thinking a shoot out, ZEKE is gonna gorge himself at the all you can eat yardage buffet!

True, but he is much better vs TEs than speedy WRs and that leaves Wilcox and Heath at safety. That is really scary, neither one can play the ball well at all.
Both (heath and Wilcox) of them play very well and both hit like freight trains. Jones played pretty decent against recievers, besides Brown would cover the speed reciever

Rewatched the Ravens game. Something's definitely not right. Dude wanted no part of any tackling, and it seems whenever he's in on a tackle he ends up on the sideline.

I think he has two bad wheels and a bad shoulder. None of those are good. I think if they run a slot receiver down the middle and our safety isn't there its game over. He doesn't have the wheels with the bad hammies.

OScan is face guarding out there. He is one bad turn, tweak or tackle away from being out again another 3-4 weeks. He needs a full offseason to get back to 100%. I just hope these struggles don't affect his confidence because we need him for the playoffs. I would almost rather he be limited in practice for the rest of the season and move Brown into more of his role until Scandrick gets more of his natural strength and stamina back.

What is the his exact problem? Is it the knee that kept him out last season or something else?

We have a ten day break after the Viking game next Thursday, we play the Giants the next Sunday. Like they say in the Marines.

I think Frazier has been only in for special teams.
Yes, that is correct. You said activate him and I was pointing out that he has already been active.

Most young players that have been inactive start out on Special Teams when they do become active.

I assume that Jeff Heath is the top backup Safety over Frazier right now but that status could change at any time.

Well, mainly I was referring to him being activated into a role on the field during the game as a safety.

No pass rush + depleted secondary = Huge challenge. Some defensive players are going to have to step up big time.

I'm not sure why it matters, but In the NFL "activated" has a very specific meaning and we are all familiar with that meaning as we discuss the active/inactive list every week.

don't know that we won't have a pass rush yet. They hit cousins a bunch of times in washington. I bet lawrence causes some problems today.

Usually right after these types of injuries due to the nature of rehab you get a lot of soft tissue injuries when you are back on the field. Corners and receivers get a lot of pulled hammies but worst are the pulled groins. I think it takes a corner a good two years to get back to where they where before the injury. My problem is mentally, if a corner keeps getting beat, it can ruin that corner even when he gets healthy.

I hope they limit him so he doesn't get reinjured and so his confidence can stay intact for the playoffs when he might be closer to %100.

I'm surprised 4 WR set don't get used more often. Most team don't have a good 4th CB but many offenses have a decent 4th WR. The Cowboys 4th CB is Leon McFadden while their 4th WR is Brice Butler.

As I said, activated to 'play safety' because more than likely, BJones might see time at cb. Reason I mentioned him the 1st time if Scandrick might be limited. Not just sit on the bench when the defense is out there, and he isn't a part of the safety rotaton.
