Talks ended when Stephen offered pick 12 and three 5th round comp picks.

They aren’t going up for a QB when the incumbent is just beginning the largest deal in history, and neither of the top two would be worth the cost.

The LAST a thing this team needs to do is package picks for another “star” and become even more top heavy.

Since it makes absolutely NO sense, it makes sense that they are looking into it.
 
There is no one in this draft worth giving up multiple first round picks for. There is an 1800 point difference between the 1st pick and the 12th pick. That's the equivalent of the 4th pick in the draft! That means the Cowboys would most likely have to give up 2 first round picks i 2026 and 2027.

For a team that builds on the draft that would be an incredibly dumb thing to do. There is no player in this draft worth the 12 pick and the next 2 first round picks in 2026 and 2027.

I would trade Micah for the 1st pick straight up so they have the 1st and 12th but there is not chance I give up Micah and the 12th pick.

Is this Jerry leaking this story to make it sound like they are really going to try this year? The next story will be Jerry saying the price was too high so they didn't do it.
 
It will take some real mojo to pull this off
* I can't imagine it happening w/o Parsons as part of the package
* Wonder if It could also be a top 4 team instead of the Titans
* Only the Pats would make sense if Parsons involved
* Keep in mind Stephen refused to close the door on a Parsons possible trade. I don't see it happening but having THREE PLAYERS with the highest positional contracts on a team barely above 500.

Jerry is trolling the media.
He problem said, hey I am not speaking at the combine this year. But I need to stay in the headlines.

So he and the Titans cooked this up. Jerry asked, what would it take to get the #1 pick (I am sure a lot of that goes on with all teams). Even though not serious.
So now they are kicked back, having a drink laughing about it.

Fans took this and ran with it, like a 1st grader telling a bogus secret they just heard.
 
Could they like Cam Ward that much? I am not giving up the farm for anything but a franchise QB (which they desperately need). Opinions are mixed on Ward so....
