If you’re moving from 12 to 1, it’s gonna take multiple first round picks and then some. Look to what Houston traded to move up from 12 to 3 in 2023:

12th overall
Next year’s first
This year’s second
Next year’s third

It’s gonna take way more to go all the way to 1st overall. I can’t imagine you do that for an edge rusher or a CB/WR hybrid

It’s a bogus rumor. The Cowboys have too many holes to trade the farm for the first overall pick. They can’t afford to invest several draft picks into one player.

JJ was probably on the other end of the phone, with some fake accent, leaking some BS story about moving up in the 2025 draft. Somewhere in the past 3 decades he lost the set that GOD gave him and now we're stuck with a gutless owner who only makes bad deals because of the pressure he receives from his players and their agents AND so-called football expert talking heads! Seriously, who in their right mind would sign an aging, over hyped, overpaid, less than mediocre QB who hasn't come close to leading a Cowboy team deep into the playoffs or anywhere near a SB since 2016. The JJ I use to know was constantly looking to add a stud or two to make his team unbeatable in playoff and SB games. That dude is now sporting a pair of raisins and is nowhere near the owner he used to be............
