Mike Holmgren

Where have you been?? This has been a known fact if you follow the game of football that his time with the Browns was over

12-31 and yet people want him in Dallas. I don't get it.

I've known.

If you read the title, the fact that he actually resigned from his post in Cleveland implies the obvious.

I too can play the, "I can insinuate you're not very intelligent game".

  • Managerial decisions are not part of the "game" of football, they are business decisions. The game is what it implies; the actual game, on the field.
  • If people read thoroughly and used correct punctuation. No need for the extra question mark as well. (see above).

  • The post was obviously sarcastic.

Any particular reason why you felt the need to troll instead of having an actual comment?

Agreed, not a fan.

That was as team president and the browns werent that good In the first place. Look at the browns before he took over, they are better now than then.

Look at his record as a head coach. Won ome superbowl and went to two others. He atcually has better post season success than Sean payton.

One thing about holmgren is he likes to build a good OL. Look at his history at green bay and Seattle.

Cowher would be a much better option. But I think Gruden would be a good fit too. I think both of those guys' intensity, not to mention experience, would be beneficial to the team and particularly Tony Romo.

Count me on this bandwagon. I think Romo's skill set is tailor made for Gruden's offense, and as someone who coached Al Davis' team to a superbowl, Gruden should be able to handle Jerry Jones.

Romo is currently, and has always been in my humble opinion, PERFECT for the WCO. He's currently running Troy's offense without the luxury of having a) Troy's CANNON for an arm and b) that great O-line that could not only run block, but pass-pro with the best of them. Romo would be so much better with an offense in which the plays develop faster. Am I the only one tired of Garrett calling every pass play to go 15+ yards downfield?

Gruden is the guy I wanted to see here to begin with as opposed to Garrett. Romo would fit in well with a WCO and Gruden's expereince with Al Davis would help him working with Jerry.

Hey guys. Mike Ditka and John Madden would make great fits in Dallas.

Bingo. I think Romo would thrive under a Gruden offense. His release and mobility would be great assets in Gruden's scheme.

How funny that some don't care whatever happens with the team as long as we hire someone that "fits" romo...We have to baby sit romo...have a romo-friendly locker room...romo this..romo that...

Screw the whole team as long as this loser of a QB is happy...Poor guy is a resurrection of Joe Montana but our WR don't run routes, our coaches don't call plays...It's never romo's mistake ..always someone else's

How about Jerry cut a stake in the Cowboys and give it to romo?

smh

It's not just Romo..

Dez is taylormade for the WC, so is Miles for that matter. The running game would benefit from the threat of quick passes and play action. The tempo would speed up.

The offense as a whole would fit the WC. That said, building a system around your qb's skillset is a good idea in general.
