When asked by someone, "What do you think of the new addition?"

He responded with, "I think it was a great pick. The young fella is a baller" It is good to see him being supportive whether he is going to be a part of the 2013 Cowboys or not.

I still like Jenkins , I wish we could find a way to keep him and get rid of Scandrick .

Good.

I always thought Jenkins was a classy kid and a real professional. And he took a big leap last year sacrificing the body to help this team.

Part of me hopes he stays, at least for this season.

If the Cowboys can't find a trade this year, I'm hoping that is what they will do. I believe the Cowboys could still either release or trade Scandrick, but it all depends on what kind of contract Jenkins is going to want.

Im all for trying to get a guy signed before he hits free agency but signing Scandrick may end up biting us.

They always fall in love with Scandrick in training camp and then the games start.....

Nothing wrong with ditching OSCAN and getting Jenkins back.

Um, what? Yeah, there is a big problem. We just gave Scandrick a bunch of money. Besides, you guys are forgetting something. Scandrick can defend slot receivers. That was the big problem in Philly, three outside corners, none of them could play in the slot effectively.

It will be hard to keep Jenkins because Scandrick will be cheaper than Jenk and Jenkins is a starter in the NFL. He won't stay here to be a backup.

If by "defend" you mean give up the catch and make the tackle afterwards, you are 100% right.

Maybe they think about moving Scandrick to safety. They knocked it around before if memory serves.

The thing about Coach Ryan is that all 3 CBs will get their opportunities on the outside so he wouldn't really be a traditional backup.

I could be wrong, but I think I remember reading somewhere that Scandrick can be cut or traded without penalty.

Hey, folks were ready to run Jenkins out of town after his 2010 season. Now it's all "Jenkins is a great guy."

Yes, Scandrick was not great last year. There was a whole lot of suck to go around last year.

I have not seen this. I see scandrick chasing guys and getting toasted.

Pretty sure you're right. His cap hit goes way way down after this year if I'm not mistaken. The contract he got was really front loaded.

I heard Parcells say that if he was still coaching he would use 3 corners and 1 Safety as his base defense.

It sucks to lose Jenkins and most likely Felix as well.

2 of our first rounders gone in the same year who actually werent bad players.

I've cursed Jenkins' tackling but he played hurt last year and was the best we had. Its not his fault Ball and Walker played so much.
