Mike Jenkins Sums It Up Nicely

Wait a minute. He needs to speak for himself. He was the one stinking it up out there on defense. Him and Scandrick were the main culprits. The offense put up enough points and yards to win this game. Jenkins needs to step his play up because all I hear from fellow Cowboys fans is how he's the best corner on this team and he's not playing like it this season. Step it up. He's capable. His first quarter was some of the worst corner play i've seen since Jacque Reeves and Nate Jones.

Mike Jenkins, needs to shut up and stop getting beat all the time.

I was thinking more Bryant Westbrook.

I said this in the post game thread.....we show up for MUST win games.....we show up for MUST win drives. We have to be cornered to perform.

"The only time we play is when our backs are against the wall. We can't never just come out and play football".

I said this a couple weeks back. Sucks that the players feel the same way.

Well Mike, here ya go. You back is against the wall for just about the rest of the season. Have fun.

You would think being 1-2 would constitute feeling as if their backs were against the wall. What, they win one game after losing the first two and they thought they were riding high?

Again, this type of attitude and lack of urgency points directly at Wade.

Jenks needs to apologize for his performance today... And correct me if I'm wrong, but 1-2 heading into this game is "backs against the wall". He's looking to get coaches fired with these comments.

COMPLETELY AGREE MAN.

Hell you can throw him in there too. Jenkins should never be Reeves, Westbrook or Jones bad. NEVER. We can't afford for him to be.

Fail Mike

Jenkins –
PENALTY on DAL-M.Jenkins, Defensive Pass Interference, 35 yards, enforced at TEN 21 - No Play.

PENALTY on DAL-M.Jenkins, Defensive Pass Interference, 13 yards, enforced at DAL 42 - No Play.

Way to man up give them 50 free yards on their first drive

C.Johnson left end pushed ob at DAL 38 for 42 yards (M.Jenkins). Cutback to the left side

If Jenkins would have manned up on that play it would have been only 20 yard gain
Instead he turns toward the middle of the field letting CJ go right by him

Scandrick what do you even now where to go - you looked lost on that TD throw - you looked lost all day

Ummm...this was a must win game...our backs were up against the wall...OOPPS....I guess we don't show up for that either. :bang2: :bang2:

1-3!!!

In defense of this team not everyone stunk it up out there today. The one talking about they need to play like their backs are against the walls is the one who needs to be speaking for himself because he stunk it up. Him, Leonard Davis and Orlando Scandrick all played TERRIBLE and less than they're capable of today. I'm not going to put the whole team into the same group as those guys.

Sorry to say but our defensive backs seem to have regressed.

I'm going to blame Campo because I know his style of coaching.

His style is to back off from the man about 20 yards away. His defensive backs also never turn around for the ball.

We never had that problem before until Campo came back and started coaching our backs.

I'm pretty sure we had numerous must win drives in today's must win game. We didn't show up.

I called it before Dallas even scored to tie it.

They tease and tease by staying close enough to win and end up losing.

Newman doesn't seem to have a problem in the secondary. And I do agree I'm not a fan of Campo's scheme because I think it doesn't allow us to make turnovers but at the same time Jenkins problem wasn't playing 10 yards off his receiver today. He was simply holding for no reason. Nate Washington of all people. Good receiver but he's not Andre Johnson and that's who Jenkins made him look like today. If Jenkins wasn't stumbling over his own foot he was holding. That's not Campo there.

Mike Jenkins looked like Mario Edwards back there during that 1st quarter.

Well I would bring up Mario Edwards but last time this Dallas team saw him he actually looked worth something sadly. :bang2: or was that Pete Hunter?

Agreed I can't stand Campo's coaching style the whole secondary looks lost

Fair enough. However, there were plenty of mistakes, penalties, and poor tackling to go around....More than can just be pinned on Jenkins, Scandrick, or Davis. I still believe this all points to the head coach.
