I simcerely hope Garrett dealt with this along with a few other things in meetings this week. Even if he mentioned it in a general sense, people like Jenkins will get the message. Our supposed future leaders on the field should be leading by example at all times.

Pisses me off. At least Gronkowski has inexperience to blame his mistake on...or at least help justify it. Felix should know better....and his guy was basically standing right in front of him. It was plain as day who he should be blocking on that play. Pathetic....

...but not as pathetic as Jenkins IMO. That was truly inexcusable. Our cornerback depth being what it is, we don't have many options, but if we could...I'd bench his *** with a quickness. He's sucked all year. Tired of the excuses.

....and as much as I love Newman, his injury concerns haven't improved. Our secondary is a hot mess. We have one solid starter....and he's dinged about 50% of the time. If we aren't aggressive here and on the OL despite what happens with the league....I don't see this team having a miracle turnaround anytime soon.

Why would he be watching Senseabaugh coming in from another direction rather than the guy with the ball? He was just as close and very possibly could have even made contact with the receiver before Sensabaugh did. Heck, even if he were worried about hitting Senseagh he could have gone for the receivers legs or at least tried to grab the reciever as he went by instead of just backing completely off.

This was really bad. Hell, at least Deion would have tried to grab an arm or something.

Sensei already had the guy wrapped up. I think he saw him at the last second and pulled up.

Not true - freeze the video just before Sensei gets to him and you will see that both he and Jenkins are almost exactly the same distance from the reciever. The difference is that Sensei kep going and Jenkins backed away.

I added to my post above - see what i said about how even if he was worried about contact with Sensabaugh Jenkins still could have at least made an effort to help with the tackle - hit the guy low, keep his head up during contact to avoid helmet to helmet, at least reach for and try tog rab the guy - something. Instead, he just completely backed away from any effort to help at all - not even so much as a show of a token effort.
