Mike Jenkins

As much as I like Henry as a USF alum, I'd like to see him more at safety.

Jenkins played great...I'm sure playing against his hometown team gave him a little extra incentive.

Yeah where are all the guys that were telling us how we should be crying, and whinning, about losing Jones because Jenkins was going to get burned and smoked all through these games here?

Where are all those people now to eat their crow? As usual they're taking a 'hiatus' from the forums.
Yeah, it's funny how that works.

All our young DB's played solid today! They were flyin around the ball and playin physical.

Every Cowboys fan knows that the better our corners can cover, the more pressure we can get on the QB and force turnover's.

Hopefully next week they keep this determined play up and do all three of those things!:starspin

Didn't seem to have a positive effect on Henry.

He might've had it, but you've got to have some skills to show it, don't you?

Jenkins looked really good today but Ball was a huge surprise...

Jenkins' confidence is going to continue to grow. He will be a good one.

Scandrick might be a bit better as of now, but I think Jenkins will surpass him at some point.

The youngins played very good today! Scandrick is definitely a player and Jenkins showed some heart out there...not to mention what a pleasant surprise Ball was! Funny how when they finally pushed up on the wideouts that the defense toughened up & put pressure on J.G.! Hopefully our defensive "brain-trust" realizes this and plays more aggressively for now on...it's about time the D earned their $$$!

I ripped on jenkins before but he is growing up quick.I willsay this CB is a young mans position.

I like how the rookies were able to stick with the recievers in the second half. In the 4th quarter, Jeff Garcia held on to the ball for awhile trying to find someone open but they were all covered, giving our dline a chance to get pressure on Garcia.

I remember Newman saying earlier in the pre-season workouts that Ball as a player, meaning that he thought Ball has some talent. Obviously, the coaching staff must have thought the same thing to keep him over Ogalsby(sp?). He reminds me of Aaron Glenn out there.
