Do you guys think he will have a bounce back year under Ryan or keep declining

Bigtime bounce back year for Jenks is coming. He's a baller but got big headed by reading his own newspaper clippings and a soft HC just added fuel to the fire. JG firm hand and Ryans no nonsense approach will have him back to 2009 form...

I dont know what his problem was last year, but I dont see him declining at all. I think he'll play at a pro-bowl level and be arguably the best corner on the team.

it start's with attitude if he cleans that crap up....along with desire too play then yes

but with his current attitude, and questionable desire i don't know

when he broke out....he had a desire too make the pro bowl, so he was lights out, after that....he didn't care...thats when the crap attitude came in

he's physically gifted....just needs a head on that body

also i feel this new scheme will help him...a lot....i don't see him doing much worse

last year we didn't get great pressure ...this year...we are supposed too....so we will see

I think he has the talent so yes I think he will bounce back.

He'll either be great or awful, no in between. If he's awful then next year will be his last year as a Cowboy

2008: Below average (save the final few games)
2009: Great
2010: Below average

2011 is scheduled to be a good year for him

This ^^^!!! I agree with ya. A no nonsense approach and tons of accountability will have Jenkins playing better (IMO) than 2009.

don't go too far out on a limb :laugh2:

I honestly don't see how he could play any worse. He was awful.

He and Alan Ball had to be one of the worst CB/FS combos in the league.

I hope so. I think if there's fear of losing his spot, and is held accountable, he'll be back in top form.

Jenkins just needs a HC and a DC who will push him hard, and he has both now. He is going to have a monster year.

He can't be any worse than last year.

My guess is that he'll play real well during his contract year whenever that is.

I for one was ecstatic when I heard Ryan essentially say there is no room for "cowards" in the secondary. I interpreted that as a direct shot at Mike Jenkins.

I'm glad Ryan feels strongly about it.
