Leach is in L.A this week on his book signing swing. He took a good amount of time talking up UCLA. Not sure UCLA would pull the trigger on a hire like that but I would be ok with it.

I'm hoping for either him, or the Texas D.Coordinator to take over for Mark Richt and UGA next season.

No way a SEC team is going to hire Leach. Perfect hire for UCLA though.

Oh man Muhast

NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO to this ******* coaching my Dawgs. I hate Mark Richt more than most, but geez DO NOT WANT this guy in Athens.

The Leach to UCLA rumor has existed since at least 2007, they're always supposedly on the cusp of hiring him, his Pepperdine JD past gives him ties to the area so it isn't absurd.

Makes the most sense. He'd be a great hire there...his offense would feast on the weak Pac-12 defenses and it's the right type of school for him

Just suggesting him by default. There aren't a lot of coaches out there. Who would you like?

Actually this would be a great fit for UCLA...

Neuheisel has always been a leech and controversy follows him...

Flashy offense in LA goes a LONG way... this is a perfect fit...

And that's exactly why it won't happen. Dan Guerrero and the rest of the clowns in Morgan Center have no idea how to run a D1 football program. If/when Slick Rick gets canned I hope Guerrero follows him out the door.

I do not see Mike Leach as a good fit for UCLA. He is an excellent Coach, of that there is no doubt. He would smoke USC every year with that talent base IMO but, his mouth would get him in trouble within two seasons. UCLA is way too big of a pond for him to swim in without getting on the wrong side of too many things. He needs to go to a smaller setting where he will be forgiven all of his behavioral missteps. That is not UCLA IMO.

I think Troy Calhoun would be an excellent hire for UCLA. That is a guy who would remove all doubt about improprieties at UCLA. Plus, he's one heck of a good Football Coach.
