Mike Martz

This team is too close at this time...they won't bring in a new offense. They'll promote from within. You aren't going to bring in another position coach from another team to be OC, and you can't hire another OC to be your OC unless he's so special you are going to give him the asst. head coach title.

I'm not at all worried about losing Ireland, Garrett, or Sparano. What will be will be, and we have no control over it. I'm only worried about this team being healthy and ready for a SB run this year. Next season will take care of itself.

I don't believe Garrett is going anywhere except vacation
As long as it's not to help Coach in the Pro Bowl. ;)

What about the guy Art Shell hired from the Bed & Breakfast? Maybe in an environment that promotes winning... he would be okay?

There's no way Jerry Jones hires Mike Martz as our OC. Jerry's signed Romo to a $67M contract and he won't allow any coach to ruin Romo's opportunity to produce a SB by getting him needless hurt before he can get the job done.

BTW: I don't want Cameron here either. He was successful with LT at RB & Brees as their QB. We don't have an LT and our defense is not the Chargers' defense of a year ago.

Also I really don't believe Garrett is going anywhere this next season except maybe taking a few weeks off when it's time. Realize he's going out to SF but I'm sure just to take a pulse of what's out there and see if he can learn anything about the kind of questions he'll face from their GM & maybe the owners, etc.

I just don't think Garrett is ready to be a head coach yet and all that involves re defensive scheme, hiring his coaching staff, etc. If he's as smart as I've heard, he will realize that and stay with the Cowboys as our future HC in development. If he's not as smart as I think he is, he'll accept a HC job for 08 season elsewhere and frankly I think he will fail. Don't forget even the great Belicheat failed in Cleveland in his first HC job and that's with a lot of NFL experience.

I hope you didn't have a problem with Garrett neglecting the run in the Philly game because you'll hate Martz.

Personally I think Martz is good, but you really need to have the right HC to get him on the right path without totally destructing what he wants to do. Why the Lions fired him is beyond me.

Ehh...

Martz would probably kill the development of Romo.

He relies entirely too much on his offense just dominating and doesn't mind forced passes, or turnovers.

He needs to go to a team like the Raiders with a young QB. Maybe even the Dolphins.

Not to mention a scrambling QB is not his forte.

Word out of DC is that the Commanders are only up to page 4 in that 700 page playbook. Maybe Martz could bring his 7 or 8 total plays and get you guys going....

7 Step Drop - Sack
3 Step Drop - INT
Roll out to the right - INC

etc.. etc..:laugh2:

What did Tony Romo ever do to you?

Martz is an overrated buffoon who leaves his quarterbacks open to take hits. No thanks, he's a bonified dork.

Mike Martz = loose cannon. Does not play well with others..... Egomaniac too.
