I so would be taking four defensive linemen in this draft...

I agree about being an interior draft. We might be best off walking out with two high-round DTs. Maybe our future 3-tech and 1-tech. Who knows? Slide T. Craw back to SDE and Lawrence over to WDE and find a way to move Gregory around. We can really walk out with a stud 3-tech and 1-tech in the first 2-3 rounds. We can also go from an undersized D-line to a big, strong D-line in the matter of one draft. Image going from Gregory/T.Craw/Hayden/Lawrence to Lawrence/beast/beast/T.Craw.

That even more than edge rusher is what I want.

That makes our line 100% better than drafting an edge player. Interior disruption is something we have missed since Ratliff was sane.

But again, it goes back to how much we just love Crawford (I am not that impressed honestly) and hate nose tackles.

You look at the sheer depth at the position in this draft and it is like being in a candy store.

It says a lot about this draft class and the Cowboys interior DL that we could get a legitimate upgrade in the 4th round.

Just listened to the whole 2 hour show while doing other work. Heres my scratch notes on what he said:

defensive draft
might be best interior dl mayock has ever seen
deep on dt and corner
could get a DT that would go in the first round in other draft years in the 3rd round this year. could have 10-12 with a first round grade

weak draft at wideout. only a couple worth high spots depending on team fit, treadwell and fuller

typical tight end class. maybe one guy in the first. 4 total in top 3 rounds.

jaylon smith it all comes down to medical. can probably be a top 3-4 linebacker in the league, but might have to wait a year before you see him.

solid but average rb class. elliot will go in first, but after that its a tossup. 7-8 backs in top 3 rounds probably.

P. Lynch is a year or two away from playing, may have talent to be franchise guy.

wentz's tape made me say "wow." low starts is an issue, but has a similar skillset and ceiling to andrew luck, but not nearly as polished and ready to play (safe). off the charts character according to coaches

goff needs to put on weight badly, but is safer than wentz.

hackenberg and cardale jones are the qbs that scare the most. have a lot of potential but the tape is a mess

serious character issues about cook. dont know why he didnt attend senior bowl, didnt look good.
