Mike Mayock's Final Pre-draft Postion Rankings--2018

Mayock isn't the only one who has moved Daniels up amongst interior OL and slid Hernandez down. I saw one tweet that said teams are not sold on Hernandez in pass protection at this point.

Did I just read something that they may not have interest in Dez anymore? Definitely could see them going Moore in the draft.

Hernandez just gives me the Mike Iupati vibe.


I know Ron Leary didn't have the greatest feet and Hernandez kinda has the Ron Leary look to his game. He pressed 225 37 times too.

Daniels is the 3rd youngest player in the draft and just looks like he has more athleticism.


Collins had more athleticism then LEary but LEary was just better. Leary was our best run blocker.

I would go Daniels and Wynn over Hernandez but that's just me. I could be wrong.

Also, Shepherd at #4 interior DL. Damn! He's been my pet cat since the Senior Bowl. Now I don't think he lasts until our 3rd. Even with him being older. At least he's not as old as Ridley who I think is 40 years old now. He seems to get older every day

I had a funny feeling for the last 2 weeks that Mayok would move Moore to #1 spot. I want Moore and now I am getting nervous that he will not be there for us.

Also watch Mayok on Draft Night try to push a bogus rumor that the Cowboys want some turd player that will bust. Mike McGlinchey I hear is being reported is high on Dallas's board. ..Remember Johnny Manziel? Mayok wanted us so bad to pick Manziel.I was praying and praying for anything except Johnny Goofball that night.

Most mocks--maybe 95% still have Moore available when we pick.
But all it takes is one.

One pretty good mock guy just came out with one yesterday that had Carolina trading up to 18, ahead of Dallas to get Moore, and then Dallas taking Ridley.
An interesting twist.

The FW Star-Telegram just released their latest in this past hour.

They say it's a coin flip between LVE and Ridley, but have Baltimore taking Ridley ahead of us and us taking LVE. Moore goes later to Jax. Moore seems to be going to Carolina or Jacksonville a lot, besides us.

My dream draft is Tremaine Edmunds dropping to 19 and Will Hernandez dropping to 50. If Mayock is right and Hernandez is the fourth best guard, he actually could be there for us at 50.

i think Evans really hurt himself by not running, watching his film he looks quick i dont understand why he declined?
i really like Vander Eschs ceiling but i get why people like Evans and as much as ive supported Esch i would be happy with either
i just want to solidify the position and not wonder who will play and worry if Lee misses time

i wouldnt even need to see the rest of the draft

its true though there could be a good option there in the 2nd but so many teams need guards and we still dont know where Lael will start

Same reason that Taco fell the year before. Only one year of good production. Evans skills are diverse but not overly polished.
 
What's with all the love for decently fast but short WRs? Cowboys need a true burner with height and size to help spread opposing defenses deep in order to help the rest of the much slower receiving crew get open underneath. Plus, a big, tall and fast burner would better help Zeke and the rushing game than just another short but slower mid-range receiver.
 
do we think we are going to take a O line/ OG with our first pick?
i want dominance on the line but unless we plan on not signing or trading martin then lets pick the lineman after the first night.
