If there was any blunder this off-season it was holding key starters from valuable practice time. This decision can’t happen again when you send your kicker out misses 7 pts and you lose the game by two.

Buh Bye

He was only short by 3 yards, if he had practiced few weeks leading up to it he would have made it.

TBH, we did have the ball on TB 20... If not for the unnecessary sack and holding penalty, it would have been 37 yds fg instead of a 60yd FG. Honestly, taking that sack was the only real mistake Dak made in the game.. But it was a costly one. Its the one part of his game that needs attention... Knowing when to give up on a play and get rid of the ball... Romo would do the same thing, holding out all hope to make a play and taking an unnecessary sack.

It’s a problem he has had for a while. Just throw the ball away. Or scramble and take off. Was glad to see he did run with it once. Get that fear out of his system.

Not sure what happened on the short field goal attempt, but it's asking quite a bit to expect any kicker to make a 60 yard attempt.

Missing an extra point is just unacceptable in the NFL. Getting in the end zone is hard enough but when you do you have to have that extra point . I think the Chargers new bowling alley has a roof then it’s three straight in Jerrahs paneled basement so weather will be no factor , Zuerlein needs to come out of liability stage and become an asset or break out the invites for kickers that are unemployed

Oy vey, this is a hilariously bad take.

Dallas played cleaner, less sloppy football but just weren't as good.
Dallas rested Dak and he had 400 yards passing and 3 TDs.
The guys who struggled were Anthony Brown who got plenty of burn, Greg the dead leg who was hurt and only available last minute but is Bones' boy and perhaps a couple drops by CeeDee who also made great plays and has had catch issues all along because he wants to take every pass to the house.

You want to crap on Mike for the 60 yard FG? OK. But note 3 more points and we quite possibly win the game.
But there is zero evidence to support the players were too rested.

Kicker was the only rusty guy to be honest so IM not sure the rusty part holds up. If I had to blame one guy, it would be the kicker however.

But I dont consider this game lost as much as Tampa just won it in the end.

Have to look at decision by MM the last two years in the draft, retaining Moore as the only holdover coach and then firing Nolan and hiring Quinn as all great decisions by MM. And he is letting Moore do his thing and not interfering.

Two mistakes I saw Dak make that did cost us. The sack where he didnt throw it away and the late throw to Zeke in the flat down by the GL. He was late in the throw and Zeke probably scores if he gets the ball sooner.

At least this team started the game with passion and intensity, made some solid adjustments at halftime and didn't once let off of the gas. Had this been Garrett, the team would have started flat, showed zero emotion, came out even flatter after halftime and Zeke would have finished the game with 30+ carries for a total of 29 yards. I, for one, am optimistic about this team's potential for the rest of this year.

..well in case you forgot. Tampa dropped a TD pass. That was 7 pts there. So it evens out. It was good, tight, fought game. Tampa got the final break. Maybe its us next time. ;)

You finally made a post that makes any sense. Good job
