Mike McCarthy needs motivators on the coaching staff

If McCarthy comes back, he needs a better DC and OC. Preferably two whom the game hasn't passed by a decade ago.

Exactly, especially a offensive coordinator who can actually create mismatches on offense, like a Ben Johnson, and use Turpin involved in plays alot more and deuce vaugn

If MM comes back, one thing MM needs is to focus solely on coaching/time management, he needs to hire guys that can motivate these players in a way that he's not able to. Having to call the offense, that should be left up to a signal caller that can call plays, and get the guys ready for any team and bring a swag with them! We need swag on defense and offense. Imagine being mentally prepared for a game and going out in a game and letting teams know that they're not going to mess with the Cowboys, and we actually send them back home crying to their wives!!!

This team needs a toughness to them, and MM needs to look for coaches that can bring the grit out of these players. Please give your thoughts on this

I disagree.

coaches can be fiery, screaming, push the players, but the motivation has to coem from within. these players should be fired up to play each week. fully dedicated to their craft and during season and eat, sleep, drink, think, talk nothing but football for 18 weeks. they are ******** professionals and should act like it.

I'm not sure this HC possesses the right assistant/coordinator contacts in order to get the right ones on his staff.
Moore and maybe Quinn too were provided for him and those teams were coordinator driven with a clear deficiency at the HC level.
He's not doing so well now that both are gone.

Don't forget Nolan.
And currently Solari.

So... it would be advantageous for Mike McCarthy to add assistants like Jason Garrett, who could use motivational cue cards like 'FIGHT!' and 'POWER!'? meh. Could work but he will need Jerry Jones to first sign off on his choices.
