Fair enough. I didn’t read the article. I just went by what the OP decided to share in the first post, so maybe I am off base.

Does the article specifically say music has no place at practice?

Not even close. The article quotes the coach talking about using music to mimic game situations. There's no music at practice now because they don't expect any fans at the game week 1 in LA.
