This guy is a real piece of work. I hope no one ever hires him for another football gig.

Mike McQueary files suit against Penn State

The Penn State football assistant whose report of Jerry Sandusky allegedly attacking a child in the showers led to Joe Paterno's firing said in a court filing Tuesday that he is suing the school.

The "writ of summons" filed by Mike McQueary's lawyer described it as a whistle-blower case, but the brief document was not accompanied by a full complaint that would lay out the allegations.

I was just going to say, "Here's a guy who must not care much about having a career in football.. or in anything else, for that matter."

I doubt anyone in football was every going to hire him again anyway.

BTW... That hair puts even Garrett to shame.

this guy didn't take the strong action necessary at the time of the incident, and now he is suing? what a weak loser

He is not the only one at Penn St. that turned a blind eye.

Anything to protect the program, the institution, the coach.

I know he's not, still doesn't excuse him.

The guy has been blackballed from his profession. He didn't take a strong stance but then again, neither did the NCAA, who new about all of this long before it became public knowledge. Neither did his University or his immediate employer (his head coach). I don't blame him at all. He pretty much has no choice but to sue IMO. He's looking for a way to support himself in all likelyhood.

but, has he been purposely blackballed, or will nobody hire him because of what they know about him? I personally would not hire this guy if I were in the position to. He watched a little kid getting raped and did nothing. Couldn't THAT be the reason nobody will hire him?

edit: well, he didn't do NOTHING, but he sure didn't take the actions that should have been taken

I don't disagree but the fact is that he was not alone in the blame. The NCAA new this was going on since like the 80s and they did nothing. I don't blame you for your opionion. Not even saying your wrong but still, the guy has to make money some kinda way. Penn State is not going to pay for this. Joe Paterno is past the point of paying and the NCAA is not going to suffer. This guy probably looks at this and says, why am I the only one getting punished for this?

..which is exactly the WRONG way to look at a situation like this.

Not to mention he's not the only one who was punished for this. Wasn't punished much at all actually, he was and is still currently on paid admin leave. Being paid to do nothing right now. What a crock of ****.
