By far, my favorite pick in this Draft. When we took DeAngelo Smith I was excited but I wished it was Mickens. His Dad is a class act.

Mickens is going to be a good one, but the steal of this draft was Hamlin.

More than covering the WR, top notch or not, he knew where the QB was going. The Oklahoma QB is a darn good one. That's more important.

He is a physical CB for sure. Could just be the clips in the video but he always seemed to have his hands on the WRs which could draw lots of flags.

Mickens did not participate in OTA's because his class had not graduated yet. He was at the mandatory mini camp and from what I've read he did pretty well.

Ahh your correct sir. Completely forgot. No wonder I didn't hear much about him. I love our DB core. Mickens could easily start in place of Newman in a few years. Awsome that we will have Jenkins,Scandrick,Mickens and SMith for years to come. Average age....22.

I hear you. The guy led his conference in sacks as a junior and has an explosive first step. He's very young with a great deal of talent. Give him a year with Phillips' coaching and Ware's mentoring and we might have something special.
