And when do sports affect political elections? Absolutely absurd. Just another reason why I think the Eagles' fan base (and their media) need professional help. The sad part, I seriously do not think they realize it. What an absolutely pathetic fandom.

He's Governor, and most of southern Jersey are Eagles fans.

Ah, k. As a Canadian I'm not too familiar with fanbases in that area. I knew they were close in proximity though

Christie's about to run for president. He no longer cares, and there are a lot more Cowboy fans who vote than Eagles fans.

Not to mention it's absurd to vote based on team affiliation, but it's quite obvious we generally vote based on far less than that.

And the majority of Northern New Jersey where most of the population is located is either a Giants or Jets fan and could care less which of the two boxes he sat in last night. And if they did it wouldn't matter which of the two he was in as I am sure the hate is about equal.

End of the day, it doesn't and will not matter where he sat when it comes to election time. Never saw a poll asking voters if "favorite sports team" was a concern during any election.
