Mike Stoops out as Oklahoma defensive coordinator

Mike Stoops has been fired as Oklahoma's defensive coordinator on the heels of the Sooners' 48-45 loss on Saturday to Texas.

The school announced the firing Monday. Ruffin McNeill, who had been the Sooners' assistant head coach and defensive tackles coach, will serve as the defensive coordinator for the rest of the season.

Ruffin is pretty good so that sucks for me as a non-OU fan.
I think they will be better the res tof the season.

as an Ou fan...its the players.
defense still sucks.
they just havent had game changers on that side of the ball in awhile...didnt think Stoops was the problem...its the players.
