I have always liked Tomlin. After Big Ben left, he did more with less than most other coaches.

Jerry's ego wont hire a coach who would get the credit if they win. Also I doubt Tomlin needs rhe money that bad to damage whatever legacy he has, to come to Dallas for a check and not win.

I think Tomlin is a good coach, but it would feel like a Mike McCarthy type hire. Proven good coach, who won 1 Super Bowl but hasn't led a team anywhere in a while. He probably can fix the defense though.

he is absolutely right, the defense formation and scheme was bad.

first of all I saw braham drop 10 yards covering the RB or somebody (I can't tell), same on the otherside? WHY WHY WHY would you cover them for a 10 yard gain. everyone should have been down around the line where they are targetting, bunch them in two rows and knock the ball down like a hail mary.
second tell the players, we are giving them the inside, so if they catch don't tackle them immediately, let them run around and really kill the clock. they are not getting through

and why play man to man, where a man could fall or something, the reciever catches the ball and runs for a TD. you play zone, flood the zone with 8 players.

Tomlin coached the Stealers for 4 years after Big Ben retired.

His playoff record in those 4 years was 0-3.

After winning the super bowl his post season record was 2-10.

Mike McCarthy has his new team Steelers tied for the lead in their division at 2-1. His team offense could use some help since they are in 26th place averaging only 17.7 points per game, but their defense is very good ranked 11th at worst and 6th at best while holding opponents to 20 points or less per game. Tomlin would do so much better with both our offense and defense.

He also is a micromanager and young coaches don’t want to play for him. Todd Haley was the last.

He also had hired some of the worst offensive coordinators in recent memory. His last three committed acts of terrorism against the NFL passing game.
