"I won't be a Wildcat guy. I can't," Vick told NBC. "It's a different style of play. It's almost like a hit-or-miss type of thing. My position is quarterback. That's what I was born to do."

I'm still waiting for ESPN to blow out coverage of this story.

...still waiting...

...okay, still waiting...

...so, why isn't this is the lead on Sportscenter?

...alright, where the hell is Ed Werder? Why isn't he in Philly right now?!?

OHHHHH .... that's right. I forgot. They only do that crap with the Cowboys.

It is upsetting.

He's not even the backup, though, so I can see how they're just dismissing it.

Vick should just be glad that Philly picked him up because no one else was going to do it.

It's not a lead story, but it is being reported on in various articles on ESPN.com. Basically speculating where he'll end up next season.

Honestly, I wish people would read first and then get mad. Or better yet, don't get mad.

Being America's Team can be a gift and a curse. Get over it.

This is the important part of what you said. Do you mean to tell me that it wouldn't be a big story to ESPN if Jon Kitna came out and said he wasn't happy with his role in Dallas? Puleeze!

many teams would love to have vick right now...

Chicago, Buffalo, Tampa Bay, Oakland...

Thank you.

When will Cowboys fans learn that the media loves Dallas merely because the team provides ratings. They know that hating on Dallas and loving on Dallas produces viewers.

That's all.

I don't know about Chicago. They just signed Cutler to an extension so they are devoting their time to him. The others I could see.

First, you don't know if it would be a lead story. And if you say you know it would be, then I'll ask you to prove it.

Second, I don't think it would because there's nothing unusual for a backup saying he's unhappy in his role. Who cares about a backup? That's why he's a backup, because he's not starting. Duh.

Third, you separated her "lead story" statement from her other, more significant, point.

She said it wasn't a lead story. But even so, of course, it would likely be given greater play if it involved the Cowboys. The Cowboys are a more glamorous, more interesting franchise than the Eagles. More people love and hate the Cowboys than the Eagles. So, of course, it would be given greater play, although who knows if it would be a lead story.

In short, stop whining about the situation. Because of their immense popularity, the Cowboys are going to get more media exposure - good or bad.

Now deal with it.

Maybe he meant Carolina. They would probably love to have him.

They just signed Delhomme to an extension. Not sure they'll be willing to eat the cap hit by releasing Delhomme.

The dog killer should be thankful he has a job in the NFL, even if it's not the job he wants.

Chicago????????????

Who cares if this dude is happy in Philly. The guy should just be thrilled to have a job, of any kind, in the NFL.

Oh I get that...but there NEVER seems to be any love...just Hate. Personally I wish they would keep it all. But nothing burns me more than them MAKING stuff up....blowing things out of proportion. They go overboard with the negative....after the Philly game they are ALREADY saying Dallas has done nothing until they do it in December. So my point is that it's always HATE....and again, I don't need the love. But I can definielty do without the hate when it is not warranted.

Even rats want out of that hell hole.......interesting

He should feel lucky he has a job. If it were up to me the only job he'd have is as a gunner on the punt team.
