Theft?

Really?

Come on, Mike. You know that pocketful of chips didn't belong to you.

Maybe he needed the money to pay rent or pay off some jewelry.

You beat me to the punch.

I wonder if Mike Florio will have agitprop scribes from Kansas City and New England on his show to talk about this.

Man, the players need to wave the white flag before they hurt themselves.

How does that equal charges for theft?

Especially since he's not a Dallas Cowboy. And it's not like he was with a friend who wore his pants down.

Oh now the truth about this "bar tab" comes out. He shoplifted. From a bar? No, from a deli.

An Indiana gaming agent saw Vrabel taking "bottles of alcohol from a deli" without paying for them, Indiana Gaming Commissioner Director of Enforcement Kenny Rowan told KMBC 9 in Kansas City.

The NFLPA* sure has some reputable people working in their corner. Why not do a beer run at Circle K instead Mike?

And pull up your pants. Buy some bling too damnit. Don't pay for it.

Well, he is out of work and without a union, maybe he was just feeding his family.

I had of course considered this. I think it is more a case of he needed to push his street cred.

15 year veteran and you goes the moron route. Shows you these guys are never too old to feel entitled.

we no one better call him dumb, thats an opinion and you're not allowed to have one. I guess that makes him a smart criminal that got caught? Anyone want to figure that one out?

"It was an unfortunate misunderstanding, and I take full responsibility for the miscommunication," Vrabel said. "I feel comfortable that after talking with the appropriate parties, we will resolve this matter."

The matter involves a bar tab and some confusion over how many beers should be on it, a source with knowledge of the situation told NFL Network insider Jason La Canfora. The matter is expected to be resolved within days, the source told La Canfora, with a dismissal for want of prosecution expected, given the nature of the misunderstanding and nominal value of the few beers in question
