Woicik earned his first NFL coaching job in 1990 with the

Cowboys as their strength and conditioning coach. In his six-year stint, the team won three Super Bowls (Super Bowl XXVII, Super Bowl XXVIII, and Super Bowl XXX).

He then served the New Orleans Saints in the same capacity from the 1997 season through the 1999 season.

In 2000, he was hired by the Patriots, where he won another three Super Bowls with the team (Super Bowl XXXVI, Super Bowl XXXVIII, and Super Bowl XXXIX).

well bring him back Jerry

A retread strength and conditioning coach with 6 rings is still a retread.:)

He's the best in the business. Meanwhile, the guy we replaced him with needs to be gone with Hudson Houck and Campo.

Here my list of caoches that should be replaced

Joe DeCamillis Wades Buddie - I am tired of hearing the Kicker is the leading tackler on KO's

Dave Campo - lets play ten yards off the reciever

Brett Maxie - you mean we Safeties ?

Paul Pasqualoni - got fired in Maimi - your out the door

Hudson Houck - as much as I like you time has passed you by

Skip Peete - man just let them RB's run straight ahead an stop that dancing

Wade Wilson - OMG I hate this guy

I give DeCamillas one more year... and Houck

I was TOTALLY against Campo coming back... Jimmy and his staff treated him as a clown... no different now...

Maxie is garbage...

Pasq is nothing more than a position coach... and he isn't great at that. Jerry has always had a fascination with him for some reason...

Houck is my biggest disappointment... he has turned countless OL's around, but hasn't done it this time. I give him one more year with a different HC... his track record is too good to give up on him as of yet...

I respect Wade Wilson as a man, but he is a TERRIBLE coach... get rid of him...

I don't know if it will happen. The reason why Woicik left in 1997 was because he thought it was classless of Barry Switzer to kick that last field goal against the Packers on Monday Night Football in 1996 to give Chris Boniol the NFL record for a game.

Woicik also didn't like the fact Deion Sanders didn't have to work out if he didn't want to. Woicik doesn't mess around.

An oustanding conditioning coach is a great asset to a team no doubt but you write it up as if it were the chief reason teams win super bowls.

As with Dom Capers... Why would he leave New England to come back here?

And that's even if his contract is up.

It was a joke, Uno, thus the smiley. I get the point of your sig completely.

Houck frankly needs to go now. The fact that McQ, Proctor and Berger are all playing better with Miami then they ever did with us speaks volumes.

This.

He's still the S & C coach at NE, why would he come back here? He's had just as much success there and a lot more recently. Besides, he grew up in Woodfield, Mass; I'm pretty sure that makes the being the Pats S & C coach his dream job.

Furthermore, Joe Juraszek is considered one of the best in the business. Parcells is a fitness fanatic, and he made Joe J one of the only people he kept on staff from the Campo years. Just because we've lost some games doesn't mean it's time to replace everyone on the Dallas Cowboys payroll. You don't survive as a coach under 4 (not counting Garrett, yet) Head Coaches if you're not good at your job especially considering all of Wade Phillips' and Bill Parcells' connections. They know who's out there and chose to stay with Juraszek.

Just because Garrett has connections to those early-90s SB teams doesn't mean we need to make this the homecoming years for all the names from the past. That almost never works out.

I remember him. I remember reading that he, probably more than any coach at the time, hated Deion Sanders cause of his complete disregard for the hard work that Mike wanted players to put in.

About the only thing that I don't agree with this post is Houck. He should be gone. He's not the same coach he once was, and even then he was a bit overrated.

OTherwise: :hammer:

especially about how Jimmah treated Campo. I witnessed that personally.

is a solid defensive back coach, but I don't like him as a DC. He was a quality assistant for the Cowboys, which is where he learn to breakdown films and design game plans, but as a DC I'm not convinced, especially since he's a 4-3 guy.

lets try this again

Can you share the story? It'd be awesome for us younger fans who were just kids during the 90's.
